Window film is only as good as the film and the person installing it. These are the questions we would ask if we were hiring someone.
1. Do you only do flat glass?
Car tinting and architectural film are different trades with different films and tools. We only do flat glass, never cars.
2. Are you an authorized dealer for the film you sell?
Authorized dealers get the real product, the full manufacturer warranty and training. We are an Avery Dennison authorized dealer.
3. Will you check my glass before recommending a film?
A good installer checks your glass type against the manufacturer's film-to-glass compatibility guidelines before recommending anything.
4. Can I see real samples?
You should see and hold the actual film before you buy. We bring physical samples you can keep.
5. Will I get a written proposal with the film named?
Get a fixed price in writing with the exact film specified, not a vague range.
6. Are you licensed and insured?
Ask for the license number. Ours is California License #1028869.
7. What does the warranty cover, and who backs it?
Know the manufacturer warranty and whether the installer also stands behind their workmanship.
8. Will you tell me if I don't need film?
An honest installer will tell you when film won't help, like on shaded north-facing glass.
