What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can tell us to do with it.
Effective September 25, 2026. This policy describes how Tint Solutions collects, uses and shares personal information through this website and in the course of quoting and carrying out window film work.
Who we are
Tint Solutions Inc. is a window film installation company operating in Southern California and Middle Tennessee. We are the business responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us on (760) 814-9174 or at info@tintsolutionsinc.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, call us or email us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, property address, and whatever you tell us about the property and the problem you want solved.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server records the IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time of visit and referring site. If analytics or advertising tools are in use, they may set cookies or similar identifiers.
What we do not collect. We do not ask for and have no use for your Social Security number, driver’s license number, financial account numbers or payment card details through this website. Please do not send them to us by email or through a form.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiry, prepare and deliver a quote, schedule and carry out an installation, invoice for completed work, honor warranty obligations, keep records we are required to keep, and improve how this website works. If you have asked us to, we may also contact you about relevant services. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal effects.
Calls, texts and email
If you give us a phone number, you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry by phone, text message or email, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop contacting you altogether by calling (760) 814-9174 or emailing info@tintsolutionsinc.com.
When we share it
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to do work on our behalf — for example the company that hosts this website, TintWiz (the quoting and customer-management software that receives the quote requests submitted through this site), and our email provider. They are permitted to use it only to provide that service to us.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim. If the business is ever sold or merged, customer records may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and where it came from, to request a copy of it, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to opt out of any sale or sharing of it, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You also have the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of these rights — we will not refuse you service, charge you a different price or give you a lower standard of work.
To make a request, call (760) 814-9174 or email info@tintsolutionsinc.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will verify who you are before acting, usually by confirming details already in our records, and we will respond within the timeframes the law requires. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission.
Do not sell or share my personal information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, this page will change with it and an opt-out will be provided here before any such use begins.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies and similar technologies only where they are needed for the site to work or to understand in aggregate how it is used. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so will not stop you using this site. We honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not become jobs are kept for a reasonable period so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us, and then deleted. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for as long as the warranty runs and for as long as tax, insurance and contract law require, because a lifetime warranty is not much use if we cannot find the job it relates to.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive identifiers to us by email.
Children
This website is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
