Turf protection film
Your window is melting your lawn.
Artificial turf does not melt from air temperature. A window — usually one, often a second-story one — acts as a mirror and focuses reflected sunlight onto the same strip of grass every afternoon until the fibres go glossy and lie flat. Interior tint will not fix it, because the reflection happens on the outside face of the glass. Turf protection film goes on the outside and stops it.

Common questions
The things everybody asks.
Does window film actually lower the temperature in a room?
Yes, though how much depends entirely on the window. Film is rated by Total Solar Energy Rejected — the share of the sun's energy it stops before it reaches the room. On west-facing glass in full sun, a film rejecting 55 to 84 percent typically takes several degrees off the peak. On shaded north-facing glass it will do very little, and we will tell you so.
How long does window film last?
Every residential film we install carries a lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking and color change. Commercial films are warranted 10 to 12 years depending on the film chosen. Modern films do not turn purple the way old dyed films did.
Will it make my house dark?
Only if you choose a dark film. Our premium film, Avery Dennison SPe Lite 70, is spectrally selective: it is virtually clear and still blocks 52 percent of the solar heat, so most people cannot tell it is there. We carry everything from virtually clear up to 5 percent light transmission.
Can film be removed later?
Yes. All of our residential films are fully removable if your needs change, and removal does not damage the glass when it is done properly.

No. We come out, measure your glass, look at the exposure and give you a fixed price. There is no charge and no obligation.
