Window film for Brentwood’s large homes and the neighborhoods close in, from Belle Meade to Green Hills: less heat, less glare, and 99% UV protection.
Brentwood, Williamson County
Large homes, a lot of glass.
Brentwood homes are big and full of windows: two-story entries, great rooms and long runs of glass facing wooded lots. We do the same work in Belle Meade, Green Hills, Forest Hills and Nolensville.
Where there is afternoon sun, those rooms get hot and the glare makes screens hard to use. In winter the same tall glass is where heat escapes, and rooms beside it feel cold. Avery Dennison DR OptiTune rejects heat and cuts glare, helps hold warmth in during the cold months, and blocks 99% of UV while keeping the view you bought the house for.
Up to 63% heat and glare reduction with DR OptiTune 30
Daytime privacy for rooms close to the road
99% UV rejection, protecting floors, furnishings and art
Lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking and color change
Both are Avery Dennison architectural films with a lifetime residential warranty. The choice comes down to how much heat and glare you want to cut, and how untouched you want the glass to look.
Avery Dennison · Premium
SPe Lite 70
A spectrally selective film that lets visible light through and blocks heat. The glass stays virtually clear, so the view of the yard, the trees or the pasture looks exactly as it did.
Best for: Great rooms and view windows where the glass has to look untouched

Avery Dennison · Our go-to
DR OptiTune 30
Reflects heat away instead of soaking it into the glass and cuts afternoon glare. In winter it also sends part of the room’s heat back inside. Low interior reflection keeps rooms looking natural at night.
Best for: Sunrooms and west-facing rooms that bake in the afternoon

Performance figures are Avery Dennison published data on single-pane glass. Results on your windows depend on the glass type and orientation.
Entries and great rooms with glass stacked two stories high take a lot of sun and are hard to shade. Film treats every pane, including the transoms no shade can reach.
Wooded lots, low sun
On wooded lots the trees shade the glass for part of the day, and then the late sun comes in low and straight across the room. That low-angle glare is what DR OptiTune is best at cutting.
Finished interiors
Hardwood floors, rugs and art are what fade first near big windows. Every film we install blocks 99% of UV, the main cause of fading, and slows the rest.

Questions
Brentwood window film questions.
Do you serve Brentwood?
Yes. Brentwood is part of our regular Middle Tennessee service area, along with Belle Meade, Green Hills, Forest Hills and Nolensville. It is served from our Nashville location, (615) 808-0025.
Is window film worth it on a large home?
On glass that gets real afternoon sun, yes. On shaded or north-facing glass it does much less, and we will tell you which windows are worth doing rather than quote the whole house.
Which film is right for a Brentwood home?
Most homes get SPe Lite 70 or DR OptiTune 30, both from Avery Dennison. SPe Lite 70 is virtually clear and rejects 52% of the solar heat. DR OptiTune 30 rejects 63% of the heat and cuts 63% of the glare. We bring physical samples of both to the on-site visit.
Can you reach the high windows in a two-story room?
Yes. Transoms, upper windows in two-story entries and great rooms are a normal part of the job, and access is factored into the written quote so there are no surprises.
Can window film give us daytime privacy?
A reflective film like DR OptiTune 30 makes it much harder to see in during the day, which helps on homes close to the road. At night, when the lights are on inside, the effect reverses, so rooms that need privacy after dark still need shades.
Does window film help in the winter?
Yes, to a degree. Film is chosen mainly to keep summer heat out, but reflective films such as DR OptiTune also send part of the room’s own heat back inside instead of letting it all escape through the glass. The winter effect is smaller than the summer one, and how much you notice depends on the film and your windows.
Will film stop my floors and furniture from fading?
Our films block 99% of UV, the main cause of fading. Visible light and heat also contribute, so film slows fading a great deal rather than stopping it completely. More on film and fading.
Is there a warranty?
Every residential film carries a lifetime manufacturer warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, delamination and color change. Our installation is warranted as well.
A short on-site visit, film samples you keep, and a detailed written proposal with a fixed price. No obligation, and nobody will push you into a film you do not need.
