Lower cooling costs

Commercial window film reduces solar heat gain by up to 84%, which takes load off the HVAC plant during the hours it works hardest. An independent study for the International Window Film Association modeled film on existing office buildings in California. In San Diego, payback came in at about 1.6 to 3.2 years on single-pane glass and 2.3 to 5.1 years on dual-pane glass. New buildings with modern high-performance glass saw much smaller returns. Your payback depends on your glass, which way it faces and how many hours the building runs.

Less glare, less UV, fewer complaints

Film cuts glare by up to 93% and blocks 99% of UV. In practice that means staff can see their monitors through the afternoon without dropping the blinds, and merchandise, carpet and joinery stop bleaching out.

A modern look without reglazing

Film gives an older building a considerable visual upgrade at a fraction of the cost of replacing glass. It lets you pull down dated drapery and blinds and open the views back up, and it evens out the patchwork look of a facade where every tenant has chosen their own window covering.

Films we use on commercial buildings

Most commercial glass gets Avery Dennison DR OptiTune, our go-to solar control film: strong heat and glare control with a natural look from inside. We use R Silver when a building wants a bold reflective exterior, Natura for a darker non-reflective finish, and SPe Lite 70 when the glass needs to stay virtually clear. Storefront graphics and wraps, installed

We install vinyl storefront graphics, window wraps and wall graphics, including large building graphics installed from lifts. Your sign or print company supplies the graphics; our crew handles the installation, often on the same visit as your window film.
